Our Journey

In 2007, founder and CEO, Greg Boorer identified a gap in the market for scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective data centre services.

In 2008, the first CDC data centre went live and today, is still supporting the business outcomes of CDC customers. Headquartered in Canberra, Australia, CDC Data Centres is now the leading owner-operator and developer of secure, sovereign and connected, large scale multi-tenanted data centres across Australia and New Zealand.

In 2021, CDC provides secure and configurable data centre configurations that support co-location, containerised and hyperscale compute environments with all campuses being interconnected with high speed carrier grade networks.

Our Values

CDC prides itself on investing in action to deliver secure, reliable and trusted services to its customers.

Innovation is at the centre of CDC’s DNA allowing it to be responsive and safe in delivering world class data centre services.

Sovereign owned and managed

CDC is the largest privately owned and operated data centre business in Australia backed by the Commonwealth Superannuation Fund, the Future Fund of Australia and Infratil.

CDC's ownership structure is majority Australian owned and further strengthened by the legally binding change of control protections that CDC has entered into with the Commonwealth of Australia.

With the costly exercise of relocating to a new data centre, CDC provide the necessary comfort and risk mitigation to protect your ROI and reduce data centre related costs over time. This combined with local management ownership shares ensures that the people who support you have a vested stake in ensuring total customer satisfaction.
