About the Role:

The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for design, implementation and integration of key ICT and Operational Technology (OT) related systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, lead implementation and integration of complex ICT and OT solutions
• Document and maintain solution documentation set
• Ensure the compliance of your solutions with CDC’s design guidelines
• Ensure compliance of your solutions with CDC’s policies and standards we follow
• Lead the Design Authority function
• Propose and implement an integration platform
• Understand and translate business and customer requirements into technical project requirements
• Participate in pre-sales activities including Statement of Requirements (SoQ’s) and Tender responses.
• Assist the Server & Infrastructure team with the maintenance, deployment and configuration of CDC’s extensive VMware, Windows, and Dell architectures.
• Act as a mentor and provide training to junior team members.
• Manage and maintain As Built and detailed design documentation relating to CDC’s core solutions
• Liaise with 3rd Party vendors and customers and assist with design and procurement activities.

About You:

• Significant (10y+) experience in Solution Design or Architecture roles
• Deep understanding of hypervisors, storage, networking and OS layers, independent of specific vendor solutions
• Experience building bespoke systems based on combination of scalable open-source and vendor specific platforms
• Experience building scalable interfaces between systems and applications based on integration standards and common integration platforms
• Demonstrated experience building at-scale data platforms with significant near-real time processing requirements
• Demonstrated experience with data flow management solutions and queuing technologies
• Understanding of security best-practices at all levels of system engineering abstraction.
• Demonstrated experience running various ICT related projects and associated resources and schedules.

Essential:

Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
