Environmental

A sustainable environment is a key part of CDC’s charter. This sees all customers, both locally and globally benefit from the technology and leadership that CDC provides in the operation of energy and water efficient data centres. CDC is targeting 2030 to be carbon neutral and its operation currently:

  • uses 100% renewable power in Canberra,
  • complies with environmental legislation and internationally recognised standards (including AS/NZS ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems), and
  • ensures that there is no water wastage across its entire operation.

CDC has invested significantly in the latest technologies and compliance programs to provide our customers with the assurance that its data centre partner takes the environment seriously.
