About the Role:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and drive the recruitment process from start to end. You will play a key role in supporting our busy and dynamic People and Culture team, providing business partnering across the organisation and owning the full scope of recruitment functionality. You will be actively engaging in planning, developing, and implementing an effective Talent Acquisition strategy in meeting overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• End to end responsibility of the recruitment process
• Facilitate effective communications with potential hires and talents in the market
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
• Conduct research and translates trends into creative and innovative practices to obtain desired outcomes
• Internal communication with hiring managers, strategically sourcing information to build a talent profile and begin sourcing candidate
• Strong technical acumen and a data-driven approach to recruitment strategy formulation and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships by understanding skill set and career development goals
• Prepare content and advertise job openings on career pages, job boards and social networks
• Source potential candidates through online social channels and professional networks
• Assist interviewers in identifying and creating job related interview questions
• Evaluate candidates based on their interview and skills
• Determine qualification criteria and assessing the skills required for each position
• Provide timely interview feedback and ensure positive candidate experience throughout the process
• Train interviewers on CDC’s recruitment processes and interview techniques
• Work diversely as a key part of a highly professional CDC team to positively build upon the culture and capabilities

About You:

• Work experience in talent acquisition or similar roles
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Good understanding recruiting internally for both technical and non-technical roles
• Familiarity with social media and professional networks
• Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
• A keen interest in understanding of the technical requirements for each role within the organisation
• Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Essential:

Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
